YEAR 2 INFORMATIVE MEETING FOR PARENT/CARERS ABOUT FORTHCOMING SATS
Your child will sit tests, known as SATs at the end of KS1, when they are in Year 2. They are tested in maths and English (reading and spelling, punctuation and grammar). Teachers generally try to keep the testing procedure informal – the papers are not strictly timed, and are usually taken in a normal classroom situation to keep the pressure off children.
We held a meeting during March to explain to you all abou the SATs proces and how you can help your child at home: Click here for a copy of the presentation and remember your child's class teacher is here to help so please feel free to contact the school if you need to.
If you have any trouble extracting this file please contact the school office who will be happy to provide a copy for you.
